2010 GROUP PACKAGES

For 2010, the year when the eyes of the world will be focused on Muskoka during the G8 & 20 summits, The Muskoka Theatre Project will be the primary attraction during "Destination Rosseau", a celebration of Canada’s first destination. It’s here when WWI Canadian aviation ace Billy Bishop started the first commercial airline that he first flew wealthy passengers like the Eatons back in the early 1920’s.

The Village of Rosseau is located at the top of the Muskoka Lakes on the northern shores of Lake Rosseau, at a crossroads on Hwy 141. In fact the village can be reached via Highway 400 from Barrie or Highway 11 through Gravenhurst. From Rosseau one can easily visit nearby Parry Sound, Huntsville, Bracebridge and Port Carling.

For 2010 the Muskoka Theatre Project is pleased to introduce great packages for both daily and overnight groups.

 

OPTION 1: Groups arrive for a scrumptious lunch at the lakeside dining room of Kellerman’s Resort (formerly Resort Tapatoo).

Then it’s a short 20 min ride to the Village of Rosseau to see a Muskoka Theatre Project matinee performance followed by an opportunity to walk around visit our quaint shops.

Starting at $45 per person

 
 

OPTION 2: Groups arrive at Kellerman’s Resort for an afternoon cocktail party, followed by dinner then a 15 min ride over to the Village of Rosseau where they enjoy a Muskoka Theatre Project evening performance.

Then they return to the resort for the evening. The next morning it’s breakfast in the lakeside dining room.

Starting at $99.00 per person (double occupancy)

 
We will work with you to provide a custom package designed especially for your group. This includes private performances and/or personal guided tours by artistic director Vince Grittani (when available). Just ask!

    Seniors and mature adults have always been one of the biggest supporters and return on several occasions, many times for the same production!  All of our shows are about being entertaining and insightful. This is what makes our work so popular.  During any of our productions our cast members, writers and directors (when available)  make themselves available to greet the audience and for post show discussions.           

   In particular, we appreciate the value of visiting tour groups and are thrilled to play hosts, not only by presenting a great theatre experience but also having the opportunity of showing off our quaint Village of Rosseau and the surrounding community. Both here in the village and at Kellerman’s Resort, parking is plentiful and both locations are completely bus tour friendly!
